60 Scholars Program: McLaren STEM Experience

An exciting opportunity has come up for 60 female STEM leaders in their fields to gain experience with McLaren.


This is the second year of the McLaren 60 scholars program, which is open to women in STEM between the ages of 18-25. Based in the UK, it is aimed at those who are currently studying or have already studied and hope to be a leader in STEM. It is suitable for those in software, technology, engineering or other STEM fields.


The programme is running from July to August in 2024 and has multiple events that the 60 scholas will have access too. This includes launch events, industry expert talks, virtual racing immersion, Q&A events and more!

Who is able to apply?

  • Identify as a women

  • Between the ages 18-25

  • Have studied, or currently be studying, a STEM subject at university, college, sixth form or through an apprenticeship. STEM subjects include physics, chemistry, biology, software, IT, analytics, engineering, mathematics, finance, design

  • Currently based in the UK and able to attend in person events (domestic travel costs will be supported by McLaren)

  • Show desire and motivation that shows you want a career in STEM, can be showed through studies and extra-curriculars
